Since 9-11, everybody traveling by air has developed a certain phobia. All they want to do is to complete the journey fast and land safely. But there is really nothing to panic and you can absolutely make a safe trip if you follow some simple rules.
You are less likely to end up in an accident if you travel in a non-stop flight. Most accidents take place during takeoff, climb or drop. Choose aircraft, which has seating capacity of more than 30 passengers at least. Bigger aircrafts provide better safety to passengers during accidents and emergencies. Before boarding the flight you must pay attention to the preflight briefing. The weather report is very crucial. Do not put heavy articles inside the overhead storage as they often fail to withhold during turbulences. During any emergencies, keep yourself attached to the seat by using seat belts and listen to the flight attendants carefully. You should not carry any hazardous or inflammable material along with you inside the flight. It is also not advisable to drink much during the flight.
If you keep yourself a bit alert, you can avoid most of the chaos that might take place. On suspicion of any unnatural event, report immediately to the authority. Act wisely and your journey will be safe.
